El Miercoles hablamos de la historia de David y Goliat y de como el rey Saul y el pueblo de Israel escucharon las mismas palabras que escucho David pero los dos tuvieron una reaccion muy diferente. Era el miedo vs. la valentia. Hablamos de que quizas la razon era que David no dependia de las glorias pasadas sino que las estaba viviendo diariamente. En otras palabras, nuestra reaccion antes Goliat depende con que estamos alimentando a nuestras vidas. La musica que esuchas te da animo de buscar y alabar a Dios? Te invita a depender de Dios no importando el problema que te enfrentas? Te da deseo de sacrificar lo tuyo por el bien de otro como Dios lo ha hecho por ti? Y que sera de lo que vees en TV o internet? Nuestras conversaciones diarias?
Por favor, oren y mediten sobre esto y luego comenten. Tambien diganos, que desean que Dios haga atraves del ayuno de la proxima semana.

On Wednesday, we talked about the story of David & Goliath & of how King Saul & the Israelites heard the same words as David did, but they had 2 very different reactions. (Fear vs. Bravery) We talked that perhaps it was because David was not living with the glory of the past but he was living them daily. In other words, our reaction before Goliath depends on what we are feeding our lives. Does the music you listen to give you the desire to seek God and praise him? Does it invite you to depend on God no matter what trial you are facing? Does it urge you to sacrifice of yourself for the good of someone else? And what can be said about what we see on TV or the internet? What about our daily conversations?
Please pray and meditate on this and then comment. Also, tell us what is it that you praying God does during the upcoming fast.
